Arc-flash 40 cal/cm2 rated hood meets NFPA 70E, ASTM F-1506, set of 2

Included are set of 2 arc hoods, wear one, wash the other (typically) … do not use fabric softener or bleach, just detergent. Do not put fabric in dryer on high heat or with conventional clothing, only on low heat with other arc rated clothing. Do not line dry in sunlight.

Dry cleaning is recommended along with complete arc rated suit. Balaclava not required within.

Garment is rated to withstand incident energy of 40 cal/cm2 per NFPA 70E, ASTM F-1506 and required per OSHA 1910(S) as essential arc rated PPE.

Hoods are both visually inspected free of tears, defects in seams, loose threads or Velcro defects. They have never been improperly washed to compromise arc rating.

Fabric is Dupont Nomex IIIA arc resistant ATPV 40
